George Ohr: The Emergence of an American Master

This exhibition recounts the transformation between the fire of 1894 and the end of George E. Ohr’s potting career in 1905. Examples include teapots, cadogans and two-handled vases which highlight the artist’s interest in organic lines and shapes and brilliantly colored glazes.  Location:  LSU Museum of Art, Shaw Center for the Arts – 5th floor.  Open Tuesday through Saturday, 10am to 4pm, and Sunday, 1pm to 5pm.
